Type Locality and Naming

Siwalik Gr. – upper formation in the Sulaiman Province and Trans Indus Range (TrIR). Holotype section: Chaudhwan Zam- type section


Lithology and Thickness

Conglomerate predominantly. Thickness: 1,500 m thick at the type section and the Litra Nallah; 2,000+ in Waziristan area, 2,000m west of Bannu town
